Halfords Offer

Halfords Offer To EBCC Members

My Name is Richard and I work as the Duty Manager at the Halfords on Forster Square in Bradford. Recently, we have had a lot of positive feedback from two of the members at the East Bradford Cycling Club – Joe & Paul Daniels, and they recommended that I contact you regarding services and cycle care from ourselves.
As the weather is improving, and the clocks have gone forwards, it is allowing us to get that little bit extra out of our days and perhaps, that extra motivation to get out on our bikes and get some miles under our wheels.
Now, we at Halfords in Bradford was every rider, regardless of their ability or experience level to be able to enjoy riding their bike, regardless of whether that’s out in the hills and the countryside, or through Bradford City itself. In order for us to help with that goal however, every bike should be fully operational and most of all, safe.
Because of this, we would like to offer all members of the East Bradford Cycling Club a free £30 Bronze services for their bike. This would allow us to identify any underlying problems with the bikes and tweak the gears and brakes where necessary to make that ride just a little bit more enjoyable than it was already.
If at all possible, we would appreciate it if you could put this offer out there so that your members can take advantage of this at your next meeting or let them know by any other means you may have available. If they wish to take up this offer, all they need to do is come down to the store at Forster Square with proof of their membership and we will get them booked in for their service.
As a summary of the service, when the bike is initially booked in, we will do a quick assessment of the bike to make sure nothing will be missed, and of-course so that your members know if there is anything else lurking that they were un-aware of, and this allows your members to know what to expect and what we are going to do for them. From this point, the bike will under-go a 12 point check list with our qualified Cycle Mechanic before being returned to your member later on that day, or the following day, dependent on how busy we are.
We would also like to mention that, should your members wish to do so, they can upgrade to our more advanced Silver Service for just £20.
We will keep these offers open to your members for 30 days and they will expire on the 30th of April if they wish to know any timescales. If you, or any of your members have and questions, then please do not hesitate to contact me on 01274 737262 during store hours.
Monday to Friday:     09:00 - 20:00
Saturday:                09:00 € “ 18:00
Sunday:                  10:00 – 17:00
Easter Monday:        09:00 – 18:00

Thankyou for taking the time to read this, and please enjoy your cycling this spring and summer.

Kind Regards
Richard Truswell
